I have created an opentvix versions of the BadEIP firmwares. Version 1.1 fixes some minor issues with the previous one in this thread: http://forum.opentvix.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=473#p3347

+ Fix cleanup of opentvix.downloading directory if an update fails and another one is initiated
+ killall inetd and its spawned processes to prevent painfully slow download

Adds/Fixes the following over the badeip version:
+ busybox upgrade to v1.12.4. Lots more stuff including telnetd. Not everything is strictly necessary so I might cut it down in future versions if the space is needed.
+ Telnetd is started from the firmware so it is now possible to have shell access without the hdd/usb component. I find this useful for debugging.
+ The port 81 updater now works properly and uses a 'tar' based update.
+ Some minor problems with the html fixed.
+ broken #FIRMWARE_RELEASE# tag replaced with actual version.
+ stopped httpd starting twice.

Installed the new 1.3.168 and it seems to work very well. Nice graphics. It replaced the hacked version I had with the bluray counter removed. Would be nice to get rid of that and maybe get the album artwork when playing music files

I think 1.5.19 supports album artwork but I've never really really used it.

Its a very bad impact for streaming NFS at 1.5.19, but 1.5.16 works like a charm, could 1.5.16 be fixed also ?

based on BadEIP_M-6x00_1.5.19-R1.fwp or
BadEIP_M-6x00_1.5.19-Seres_unlocked+NOBDTrail_R1.fwp?

For first case can you create firmware based on
BadEIP_M-6x00_1.5.19-Seres_unlocked+NOBDTrail_R1.fwp?

It's not based on the unlocked versions but I can do that. I first want to ensure that I understand how the modifications to the main process to unlock is done and try to do it programmatically.

Whay exactly is new on this FW ? some one say about graphics ? is nothing new comparing to the old badip fw
