@ octessence : I saw on this board you also got a gdbserver up and running ! Would it be a lot to ask if you could fix up a FW (doesnt really matter which version), for the reverse engineers that contains loading of your wrapper by default (so we can easily restart the main exec to test modifications for example) and also that gdbserver ? Also, I just saw that the latest IDA (5.6) has support for remote MIPS debugging (using gdbserver), that seems pretty interesting as well, did you try it ?

I wanted to do this eventually and add a way to control it from the httpd on 81.

I'm getting married in 4 weeks though so time is short at the moment. I'll get onto it when I have time though.

Actually, I dont need it all anymore. Now I've got WMApro Audio working on my WDTV live (http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=426), I'm going to ditch the TVIX, DVICO can shove that buggy, slow and useless player up there where the sun dont shine, I will NEVER buy another DVICO product again.
